Llagostera
Llagostera, located between the Gironès and Baix Empordà regions of Girona, is known as one of the main gateways to the Costa Brava. Just 20 km from Girona and only a short drive from some of the Mediterranean's most spectacular beaches, it combines historical heritage, nature and a privileged location for exploring the province.
Its historic centre preserves part of its ancient medieval walls, listed as a Cultural Asset of National Interest, along with charming streets and historic buildings that reflect the town's medieval past. The surrounding area offers numerous hiking and cycling routes, including the popular Carrilet Greenway, which links Girona with the Costa Brava through forests and rural landscapes.
Thanks to its excellent location, Llagostera provides easy access to destinations such as Tossa de Mar, Platja d'Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Calella de Palafrugell. It is also an ideal base for enjoying some of the best hotels on the Costa Brava, combining beaches, gastronomy, nature and relaxation.
