Llafranc
Llafranc o Llafranch, is a picturesque seaside village in Palafrugell, Spain, located in the heart of the Costa Brava. Llafranc Beach, the largest in the area, forms a beautiful bay of crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and water sports. Next to its marina, visitors can enjoy a variety of nautical activities and savour the local Mediterranean cuisine in its seaside restaurants and hotels overlooking the sea.
One of the most scenic sections of the Costa Brava coastal path (Camí de Ronda) runs along its shoreline, linking Llafranc with Calella de Palafrugell and Tamariu. This trail offers the opportunity to walk from one village to another while enjoying spectacular views of the Mediterranean landscape and discovering hidden coves.
At the top of Llafranc stands the Sant Sebastià Lighthouse, over 150 years old and one of the most impressive viewpoints on the Costa Brava. Nearby lies the Iberian settlement of Sant Sebastià de la Guarda, preserving remains of the region’s ancient past.
