Hiking suggestions on the Costa Brava
La Costa Brava es uno de los escenarios más perfectos para hacer senderismo durante todo el año. Ahora, especialmente, con un telón de fondo de un intenso otoño y con el Pirineo de decorado que ya empieza a teñirse de blanco, se convierte en una alternativa para tener en cuenta a la hora de planificar escapadas con seguridad. Caminar por el aire libre es una de las actividades más seguras que se pueden hacer, y si los caminos discurren por magníficos miradores naturales, mejor todavía. La Costa Brava y su entorno rural ofrecen unos preciados parajes, pueblos y aldeas, donde se puede viajar al pasado gracias al legado del arte románico y las tradiciones que nos recuerdan los orígenes de unas tierras muy ricas. Unas tierras que al mismo tiempo nos ofrecen la posibilidad de disfrutar de la naturaleza por nuestra cuenta o practicando deportes de aventura.
Os hacemos tres propuestas para disfrutar del senderismo por el litoral de Girona, y contando con alojamientos de primera como los que nos garantizan los establecimientos de Grans Hotels de Catalunya. De Cadaqués al Cap de Creus
Como sabéis, el Parque Natural del Cap de Creus es un privilegio de la naturaleza. Os proponemos una ruta de 7 kilómetros que discurre por este paraje natural único en el mundo, "un delirio geológico grandioso", según lo calificó el propio Salvador Dalí. Nos situamos en la playa de Cadaqués para empezar esta caminata, una excepcional matinal de otoño, que poco después de salir ya nos hará pasar junto a la Casa-Museo Salvador Dalí. Iremos avanzando, disfrutando del mar abierto, e iremos encontrando playas encantadoras e ideales para disfrutar de un baño tranquilo. ¡Sí, sí, aún estamos a tiempo porque el agua no es tan fría como parece! Así que con un poco de valentía podréis degustar el privilegio de bañarse prácticamente solos en las calas Jonquet, la de San Lluís o la de Guillola. Y poco antes de llegar al faro del cabo de Creus también podréis inmortalizar unos colores únicos reflejados en el mar, en la cala de la Jugadora.
Llegados a la punta del cabo de Creus seréis testigos de una de las mejores panorámicas del Alt Empordà. ¡No tengáis vergüenza de decirlo en voz alta, se os ha puesto la piel de gallina! Realmente el paisaje emociona, un mar abierto y extenso se abre a vuestros pies, que pisan roca viva y escarpada por la insaciable tramontana.

De Palamós a Calella de Palafrugell
Las playas de Palamós y Calella de Palafrugell están separadas por unos 9 kilómetros de costa, que esconden uno de los tramos más bonitos de los muchos caminos de ronda que tiene la Costa Brava. Por ello, esta propuesta de excursión os la podéis coger con toda la parsimonia del mundo, porque desearéis deteneros en cada rincón para admirarlo. Saldremos de la playa de la Fosca de Palamós, y en pocos minutos llegaremos a la pintoresca cala S'Alguer, que conserva las antiguas casitas de pescadores. Seguimos el camino marcado para llegar a la playa de Castell, donde se encuentran los restos de un poblado íbero. El camino sube suavemente pasando por varios pinares naturales, junto al mar, y os irán presentando una serie de calas singulares como Sanià, els Canyers, els Corbs, Estreta, el Crit, el Vedell... ¡Una delicia para los sentidos!
Y antes de llegar a las primeras playas de Calella, os espera otra joya natural, el jardín botánico de Cap Roig. Aquí ya podéis hacer parada para recuperaros, y decidir si una vez visitado Calella volveréis por el mismo camino hacia Palamós, o si lo haréis siguiendo el itinerario del GR-92, que pasa más por el interior, pero os permitirá ahorrar un poco de desnivel.

Es un recorrido costero, un sube y baja constante por acantilados y que exige estar mínimamente en forma, una condición que os permitirá disfrutar de muchos rincones excepcionales que os irán apareciendo a lo largo del recorrido, como la cala de Porto Pi, la cala Figuera, la cala d’Allà on Raja l’Aigua y muchas otras. La llegada a la playa d'es Codolar, bajo las murallas medievales de Tossa de Mar, es un premio más que merecido, y seguro que os quedarán ganas de continuar el paseo por la ciudad vieja de Tossa de Mar y hacer la subida hasta el faro. Estaréis ante unas increíbles vistas de la Costa Brava sur, una maravilla natural que fue escenario de varias batallas navales que podréis descubrir desde la misma muralla.
La vuelta también se puede hacer deshaciendo el camino a la inversa, o por el GR-92 que os permitirá acortarlo un poco. En este caso, os proponemos que disfrutéis de alojamientos tan recomendables como el Hotel Sant Pol de S'Agaró o el hotel Es Portalet de Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
