Holidays with children in La Garrotxa and the Pyrenees
¿A qué niño no le gusta la idea de caminar entre volcanes y atravesar bosques legendarios? De todos los volcanes de la comarca de la Garrotxa, el Croscat es el más atractivo, ya que está cortado como un pastel y se aprecia mejor su perfil. Muy cerca encontramos una conocida granja donde fabrican productos lácteos. Un postre excelente para culminar la salida por la Fageda d’en Jordà. Eso sí, es obligatorio reservar la visita a la granja con antelación. Muy cerca del hayedo, se encuentra la villa medieval de Santa Pau, donde vale la pena dar un paseo por sus calles medievales. En la oficina de turismo de Olot os explicarán todas las actividades que se pueden hacer con niños en la zona.

En bicicleta por Ripoll
Hay otro paraje que no atrae la atención de tantos visitantes, pero que tiene un gran interés: el Parque de Pedra Tosca, en los límites de Olot y Les Preses, un paraje volcánico con cabañas que servían de refugio a los agricultores de la zona. Se pueden alquilar unas bicicletas y disfrutar de esta vía exclusiva para peatones y ciclistas que aprovecha el recorrido del antiguo tren de vía estrecha que enlazaba Olot con Girona. No hay que perderse este antiguo trazado ferroviario en plena naturaleza.
