Desgranando los Tracks de la Costa Brava

Nos encontramos a finales de agosto, de un verano claramente diferente del resto, y en el que muchos caminos los encontraréis con menos ocupación de la habitual. Motivo de más para disfrutarlos con más intensidad, más seguridad y completamente a vuestro aire.
Os proponemos desgranar de la manera que mejor os parezca Tracks de la Costa Brava. Es una ruta de 216 kilómetros por caminos de tierra durante la cual no dejaréis de admirar la belleza de la Costa Brava, sus acantilados y calas escondidas, los caminos de ronda y la luz del Mediterráneo, así como la serenidad de los senderos de las Gavarres. Un recorrido inicialmente pensado para hacer en cuatro días, pero que podéis adaptar a vuestro gusto para descubrir la Costa Brava más auténtica. Con salida en Palamós (Hotel Àncora), desde aquí cada pedalada os llevará a una nueva ola de sensaciones, pasando por Calella de Palafrugell (Hotel Garbí, Hotel Sant Roc, Hotel Alga), Llafranc (Hotel Llafranc, Hotel Terramar) y Begur (Hotel Aiguablava), descubriendo los encantos medievales de Peratallada, Madremanya, els Àngels..., hasta reencontrarse con el Mediterráneo en Tossa de Mar, Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Hotel Sant Pol) y Calonge-Sant Antoni. Pedaleando por la Ardenya y las Gavarres

Subamos ahora a la bicicleta de carretera. A quienes os gusta más rodar sobre asfalto os esperan serpenteantes propuestas que os harán disfrutar de un entorno natural envidiable. La Ardenya y las Gavarres son dos macizos dominados por la cultura del corcho. Extensas alcornocales conviven con el pino y el granito en estas montañas de cotas modestas que separan el interior de la costa. Las carreteras que las atraviesan esconden puertos de dificultad moderada, protegidos del sol por la espesa cubierta forestal. Los primeros kilómetros discurren junto al mar por una de las vías costeras más impactantes de la Costa Brava, la carretera de Tossa de Mar, que enseguida os pondrá delante de los primeros puertos. El de Sant Grau supera la Ardenya, con pendientes constantes que se acentúan en los últimos kilómetros hasta alcanzar el 10% y puntualmente el 14%. La travesía de las Gavarres hacia el mar aprovecha el puerto de Santa Pellaia, más regular y suave, entre el 3 y el 7%, y alcanzando en ocasiones el 10%, y sigue de nuevo hacia el interior, por el collado de Romanyà de la Selva, con pendientes medias que no superan el 3%. Iremos acumulando kilómetros en las piernas y satisfacción en todo el cuerpo y la mente.
Ya sabéis, la magia del cicloturismo se puede vivir en solitario o también en grupo. Pedalear y disfrutar de caminos polvorientos, de campos de cultivo infinitos que cambian de color con cada estación del año, del paisaje de la Costa Brava... Es la ley de la bicicleta, con el tiempo parado a su favor y con todo un territorio por descubrir. Aquella ley no escrita que habla de conocer nuevos paisajes lejos de la ciudad, de manera respetuosa y sin prisa, por senderos poéticos, seguros y sugerentes. La que os empuja a hacer parada en una cala solitaria para bañarse y coger fuerzas y para seguir pedaleando hasta llegar, a la hora de comer, a un pueblo que desearéis tener para siempre en vuestro recuerdo.
